With traditional Dragon Boat Festival approaching, KSM staff were received rice dumplings and salted duck eggs as gift according to local customs. Making Rice Dumplings activity was hosted to celebrate the traditional festival and show appreciation to all the staff.
As traditional crafts, making rice dumplings is supposed to kept and carried on. All staff gathered in the canteen and learned to make rice dumplings in groups. They learned to layer the leaves, fill up the cone with the filling, fold the leaves and tie it tightly. In the end, they all carried their hand-made rice dumplings home with satisfaction.
This activity improved staff’s hand skills, increased group communication and promoted team work.
